Mr. Nick Gamble enters his 11th year as the Head Coach of the Hoover Viking matmen. He previously coached at North Canton for 10 years as an assistant. Since becoming head coach, he has coached 7 state place winners,10 state qualifiers, one future NCAA Division III All American and a future Division 1 2 x NCAA Qualifier. He also coached the 1st female state placer in school history. He is a former North Canton and John Carroll Blue Streak wrestler. Coach Gamble emphasizes a family environment where all athletes are coached to succeed on and off the mat. Gamble is also a member of the HS Math Department and is also a part of the 8th grade football staff.

Coach Paxos is a graduate of North Canton Hoover class of 2003. He was a 4 year varsity letterman in wrestling, qualifying for state his senior year, 2 year varsity letterman in soccer, and 1 year letterman in football. Next he attended Walsh University in North Canton where he graduated in 2008 with a degree in Finance and later his MBA in 2015. He was a 3 year member of the Walsh University football team under head coach Jim Dennison. Coach Paxos is entering his 9th year on the wrestling staff at North Canton, with his first six at the youth level where he had multiple league state championship and many placers and qualifiers. Coach Paxos has also coached alongside Coach Lofland with the Vikings wrestling club which focuses on Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Coach Paxos is married to his wife Brittany and have three sons together.

Coach Harris was born and raised in Beachwood, Ohio. He wrestled for Beachwood High School where he was a 2x State Champion, 4x State Placer (7,3,1,1). All-Time winningest wrestler with 188 career wins. He also wrestled for The Ohio State University and was the starting 174 at the beginning of his sophomore year before sustaining a career ending injury. Graduated with a bachelors degree in Sports Management in 2018. Went on to coach at Ashland University where he received an MBA as well. Married for 3 years to wife, Hope, and have a one year old daughter named Rory.

Coach Lofland is a graduate of North Canton Hoover class of 2017. He was a three year varsity letterman in wrestling and a two year varsity letterman in football. After high school Coach Lofland served six years in the Army. Three years active duty as an infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division and the last three years with the Ohio National Guard. Coach Lofland is entering his fourth year on the Hoover wrestling staff the first year he was a volunteer assistant coach for the High School team and the past two seasons as the assistant Middle School coach. Coach Lofland has also been the varsity football linebackers coach for the past three seasons. Coach Lofland has also coached alongside Coach Paxos with the Vikings wrestling club which focuses on Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Coach Lofland is a current student at Walsh University where he is pursuing a Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science.
